My name is Erin, (Red Baron), and my family and I live in Northern California in a small town east of San Francisco called, Manteca. My family consists of my wife Suzanne, (Sue-Sue), and an array of Pets we consider our children.
Starting with the Canines, we have the three ‘proposed’ full Pomeranians, Dino, Loki & Wolfe, (although I have doubts as to the validity of their full breed) and one supposed Pomchi, Gizmo. (Pomeranian – Chihuahua mix) He looks part Corgi to us. We think his mama may have snuck out and found the neighbors Corgi. What do you think?
If the picture of our doggie children does not clearly explain the reasons for my doubts on their breeds, expect a more in depth blog in the future to explain.
We do not mind that they likely are not full blooded breeds. I would have been happy with an undefined canine child as long they were trainable.
Moving on to our Feline children, we have twelve in the house and three that semi-adopted us outside. Some of the inside cats have to be separated because of kitty personality clashes.
The babies in the Master bedroom consists of Baby Orange, (BB “O”), Rue-Rue, CocoPuff, Tuxedo, (Tux), & Zeus. Baby Orange was one of the outside kitties that adopted us, hanging outside our house for over six years.

Despite the constant battle of working to reduce the stray cat population by trapping and fixing those that we could, soon a batch of kittens landed on our door and those girls became Baby O’s “harem”. Those girls are CocoPuff Tuxedo & Rue-Rue.
We say the girls are his harem because they follow him everywhere begging for his attention, and obviously love him so dearly, when he calls them, they come running. They are all fixed, but we hear BB “O” ‘getting it on’ most nights with one of his ladies. No joke.
We got Zeus, as one of the last cats in our Master Bedroom, at a Petco cat “window display.” With Suzanne, I try and cover those window displays as we walk by, but sometimes, she catches on and takes a peek anyway. She fell in love with Zeus and first eye contact.

To be fair, even if Zeus had not looked at her, I’m sure she would have said that. Suzanne likes to say, “Cats are like potato chips. You cant have just one.”
It took Zeus awhile to acclimate with the MB children, but he seems very happy now and helps BB “O” give the girls the attention they desire.
Moving onto the home office room, we have Kayla, (Mama) and Saffron (BB “O’s” daughter). Saffron doesn’t get along with any cats or dogs except Kayla. She actually had a urinating problem which we contributed to stress of the other animals and that problem dissipated with the separation, although the other cats can jump over the gate. Saffron & Kayla will not leave the room and consider that their personal room.

The rest of the indoor cats have the run of the rest of the house. First we have Stormy and her brother / best friend Simba.

Then we have Titas who looks and acts tough, but is the scaredy cat of the bunch.

Blu who was one of the two cats we own, (the other being Zeus from Petco), that was actually purchased. We bought her as an alleged Ragdoll breed. Again, I think we got bamboozled on her breed. Her fur is soft and her eyes are light blue, that is likely the extent of Ragdoll heritage.

The final indoor kitty, Dimples, (The House Princess) was one of two kittens and two litters abandoned, by her mother, at our front door, (the second litter), and we took them in, just as we did the first litter, to try and save their little lives. Despite having to get up a 2:30am on the weekdays to drive to the BayArea for work, Suzanne woke up every 2 hours to bottle feed the kittens.

On the first litter, one kitten died and one was adopted by our friends. On the second litter, we adopted one kitten to our dentist and we kept Dimples. Seven years later, she still looks like a kitten. Proof positive that mothers milk trumps the bottle, but at least she is alive!
The outside cats that adopted us are Blacky, the alpha male, Tadi the hunter and Doodles the lover.

We recently lost our long time garage cat, Matty whose original owner died fifteen years ago, in his home behind us. She has been at our house ever since. We tried to bring her in but she preferred the freedom of being outside but getting her own garage.

Upstairs houses our Guinea pigs in three separate pens. The girls, Panda & Pepper live together in one pen, with a great view of their brothers Sunny & Sonic, also housed together and the pen behind them (the girls) with solo brother Scrappy who doesn’t like living with others, as he keeps his pen the way he likes it.

Ruby, our hamster, was named for her Ruby red eyes that stare at us in the middle of the night from her home. She is starting to get old in hamster age as she is around 3 1/2 years old. She likely does not have much longer with us on this planet. We will keep you updated.

In the kitchen, we have a Siamese Fighting Fish called Fishfry who is shown here making bubble nests, (Showing his happiness at his surroundings).

Finally we have numerous fish in the community fish aquarium we tried to name, but could not remember all the names! So, we call them our fish babies.

We have so many pets, (children), that have their own dis-paw-sitions, (Disposition in paw form), we wanted to share our and their stories. Every time we discuss our house life to family and friends they keep telling us to write blogs or make blog videos so others can experience the life that is ours. Well, we decided to give it a try. Hope you enjoy our family.
